Sunday Worship went great! I do feel the changes we've made (based on your consulting) are moving us in the right direction!

It is mentioned in a few places on this website that it takes first time guests 7 minutes to decide if they want to come back to that church or not (Searcy, Fusion). A Hospitality Ministry's purpose is to love people well and be intentional with every opportunity with those people in that 7 minutes as possible so that they will come back.
So that the walls they came with will be torn down so they can hear what God has for them in the worship and message.
So that they will become active members and servants.
So that they will become disciples and disciple-makers.
So that we will see revival and the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living (Psalm 27:13)!
(I love this article, which speaks to how powerful Biblical Hospitality is!)
My mission is to help churches grow by coming alongside and consulting them on creating a purposed, organized and thriving hospitality ministry. The kind that doesn't entertain, or just stops at "turn to someone you don't know and welcome them", but one that displays and extends the Gospel to guests by authentically welcoming & helping them "from the streets to the seats"(Searcy, Fusion). Besides the "7 minutes", research also suggests that people will share with 8-15 people about their experience at your church within the week. Having an organized and effective Hospitality Ministry that "greets, directs, treats, and seats" (Searcy, Fusion)with a team that is well prepared and restore's what's broken in those that enter your church, is key to healthy church growth. If you are a church leader or know of a church that desires to see this kind of ministry in your church that can spur a revival, please contact me!

Rebecca, what a blessing you are! We can't thank you enough.
Looking forward to growing and serving with you.
