Jesus loves Muslims, gay people, you, and me.
Be broken and grieve for lives lost. Let that grief lead you to the Cross. Pray for the families and friends of the many precious victims. Pray for our nation and world. Pray for the leaders of Isis to experience the same thing that Saul of Tarsus experienced - Saul, who later became Paul, who wrote a big chunk of the New Testament- was the leader of those who persecuted Christians and killed Christ-followers. He was on his way to kill more when Jesus sent a blinding light to knock him off his "high" horse. Jesus revealed Himself. Confronted him in grace, love, and truth. Saul then took on a new identity of Christ and became Paul. That's what I pray for ISIS leaders and followers. That's what I pray for all who push against Truth.
Pray and act in love. Extend what you've experienced.
"But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." -Romans 5:8
“For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places.”-Ephesians 6:12
“I know that you, GOD, are on the side of victims, that you care for the rights of the poor. And I know that the righteous personally thank you, that good people are secure in your presence." -Psalm 140:12-13
“Don’t let evil conquer you, but conquer evil by doing good.” -Romans 12:21 NLT

Passionate about Jesus and people, I've added this blog to communicate strategy and thoughts about Biblical Hospitality and The Church as a movement, rather than just people in a building once a week. It seems like everyone is blogging these days, (which is awesome!) and I know that there are always better and more insightful thoughts, but God is leading this so I'm just writing in obedience.
